Welcome to the Foxrun Manor. A 3500 square foot charming 3 story colonial style manor. This home has beauty and comfort rolled into one just a few miles from The Blue Ridge Parkway. There are large bedrooms with a 3rd floor bunkhouse and plenty of space for your comfort. Inside for your pleasure we have a full working kitchen along with 2 tables for dining. Kick back and relax on the covered porch to enjoy overlooking a fabulous 14 acre meadow. Come enjoy the beauty of Galax at the Foxrun Manor.
Good to know
The manor is in a beautiful location right outside of town on the hill in Foxrun. There is wildlife roaming around and picturesque views to enjoy. There are plenty of sleeping quarters for up to 12 guests with many amenities within the house as well. There are large bedrooms with a full 3rd floor bunk house and comfortable mattresses so as to enjoy a restful and relaxing stay. Gather around the campfire or take a swim in our beautiful private swimming pool with comfortable patio furniture for your enjoyment. Included is a large gas grill to grill up some yummy BBQ. There is a beautiful office with a desktop computer that guests will have access to use along with a color printer.
Other Details to Note
If Horse back riding is your thing, we have access to Bartlett Farms riding stable on a beautiful 120 acres ranch. Their fees are extra. Please text us if interested in this. If you are interested in getting some workouts in during your stay, we have family who owns Curtis Bartlett Fitness Center only a few minutes away. They will be happy to set you up with daily or weekly passes. Galax has many wonderful attractions such as the relaxing New River Trail just a short distance from Felts Park, home of the largest Old Fiddlers Convention. There are amusements like The Alley Escape Room, StudioB. Mule Heel Soaps, The Rex Theater, School of the Arts, Antique Shops, Cafe & Coffee Shops, BBQ & Pizza are only a few blocks away. You are near 6 mile to the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, there are many hiking trails and scenic overlooks to choose from!!! The New River Trails are very close also. Close to downtown Galax with wonderful antiques shops to visit!!
Guest Access
For the guests of Foxrun Manor you will have access to the entire Manor and 14 acre property including the private swimming pool (closed for the winter season November 1st to till May 15th)and a 6 person Hot Tub with the exception of the master bedroom closet and Second floor closet and the basement.
